This afternoon will likely see the news break that university tuition fees will rise from September 2025. With household budgets already feeling the squeeze, and upcoming tax hikes on businesses, we know this will impact the working person through pay freezes and rising consumer prices as businesses counteract their tax increases. All leading to a stagnation in the job market. These are the working people attempting to assist their children gain their further education. The rise in tuition fees just adds to the burden of student rent and bills.
Unitas firmly believes that everyone should be able to gain a meaningful degree which is why we are still extremely proud to say that our Crime, Criminology and Criminal Justice degree costs less than 1 year of tuition fees! This degree gives scope to a wide variety of careers without the hefty price tag of not just a debt to pay back, but a debt that will impact decisions on future lending! As the age at which people are able to get onto the housing ladder increases, we need to be doing more to ensure our future generations are able to educate themselves without the crippling debt currently accepted as normal.
