We join with other organisations in celebrating our Apprentices this week.
Unitas offers the Level 5 Youth Justice Practitioner Apprenticeship, which is idea for those starting their professional path in youth justice settings.
Jade Boyd was the first person nationally to complete the Level 5 Youth Justice Practitioner apprenticeship standard. Despite working in a demanding role and undergoing a neurodiversity assessment herself, JB never let her standards slip, achieving a distinction for the programme. The theme for NAW2026 is ‘Skills for Life’ – which our apprentices are very able to demonstrate over the course of their time with Unitas. Recent feedback from managers about their apprentices:
...it is clear that her learning from e-learning modules is now evident both in her written work and day-to-day practice.
... has already demonstrated that she has learned new information regarding youth justice legislation
"C's progress and ability to apply knowledge and communications, and teamwork is described as 'Transformative'"
"PAD* assessments are stronger & more concise"
