Summer Arts College Surveys

Collecting the views of young people has always been seen as having a crucial role in shaping and improving Unitas projects and services. As part of our evaluation of this year’s Summer Arts College programme, all sites have been offered the opportunity to take part in the Summer Arts College Surveys for Young People.

This year, the focus of the young people’s surveys has been on measuring shifts in attitude to education over the duration of the Summer Arts College Programme. The format for collecting the views of young people has been through online questionnaires completed prior to the college and at the end of the college and evaluations of these findings will be taking place from September 2010.

We are pleased that a number of YOTs have taken up the opportunity to be involved with the surveys. All sites taking part in this programme will receive an additional evaluation report at the end of the programme detailing views expressed by young people from their site.
