What has shone through is their professionalism, expertise and commitment to the cause of including young people in mainstream education and society. These shared values have made it a great pleasure to collaborate and work in partnership with Unitas. We are looking forward to further productive cooperation.”

Inclusive Learning Solutions (ILS) has worked with Unitas since its inception. They write learning resources and design and deliver professional development programmes for practitioners in a wide range of contexts.

It is very exciting to work with an organisation that has such a strong sense of drive and ambition to genuinely enhance the educational experiences of some of the most disadvantaged and detached young people. The collaboration between ILS and Unitas has provided opportunities for us to work in very innovative and creative ways, which we believe are genuinely cutting edge and pretty challenging (in the best possible way!).

“Collaborating with Unitas is inspiring. Unitas has a fundamental commitment to society’s responsibility to engage in educating every young person, no matter how disaffected s/he is. As a former Head of English and English teacher, I find that TextNow, Unitas’ reading programme, is particularly inspiring. With its core focus on motivation and engagement, TextNow has great potential to develop the reading of young people across the ability range, and therefore to increase young people’s engagement in learning, in subjects across the curriculum.”
